Nick Walker’s first year as a pro bodybuilder has been one of the best in history. Just a couple of months ago, Walker won the New York Pro then went on to win again at the 2021 Arnold Classic. Now, Walker has placed 5th at the 2021 Olympia Open, an incredible achievement for a rookie, but in his eyes he still has far to go.
Walker has made some big waves in the bodybuilding industry this year. Fans adore him for his insane muscle mass and youthful, confident personality. Earlier this year, he said he would win the 2021 Arnold Classic and place in the top five in the 2021 Olympia, which would normally be pretty outlandish claims for someone who just made their professional debut. Walker astonished everyone and made good on his promise.
Yet, he does not seem impressed by his own achievements and still seems hungry for more. In a recent Instagram post, Walker revealed his feelings towards his placement in the 2021 Olympia, stating:
“5th place to many is a huge accomplishment. 5th place to me is a loss…. a loss that I will make sure with this whole year of training never happens again. I know what needs to be improved and I know what needs to be fixed.”
Given his recent accomplishments, Walker’s words should not be taken lightly. When he says he wants to do something, he does and tangible results happen. If his current progress is any indication of his future achievements then it’s clear there might be no end to the bodybuilding level he’ll reach.
Remaining humble, Walker also took a moment to thank his fans and supporters. Another Instagram caption reads:
“And that’s a wrap on the 2021 competing season!!!!!! Shoutout to all my supporters you guys are the real mvps. As much as I inspire ya, ya inspire me more and more everyday!!!!
I appreciate ya for always standing by me and always being loyal to me, you guys always make me want to work so much harder to keep coming back better and better.
I can’t wait to bust my ass this whole off-season and show you guess something crazy next year!!!!!!! Let it begin!!!!!!”
Walker has already captured the attention of the bodybuilding world, hopefully here’s to many more years of his contributions to the sport.
