There are various commonly used household items that may be lowering your testosterone levels. Many of these things are ignored by the mainstream media, but we will cover them in this article.

1: Tap Water

Every day millions of Americans are poisoned by harmful chemicals in their water. Fluoride is pumped into everyone’s water, which has been linked to not only lower IQ but lower testosterone as well.

Although fluoride is frequently promoted as a tooth-whitening treatment, it has also been associated to reduced IQ and lower testosterone levels.

Purchasing a reverse osmosis filter is the solution. I started using one about a year ago and I’ve never felt better. You feel a lot better when you’re not putting dissolved birth control pills, IQ-sapping fluoride, and probiotic-killing chloride into your body every day.

2: Your Kitchenware

Most men are unaware that 99 percent of the items in their kitchen are likely to reduce testosterone levels. I’m not talking about testosterone-killing foods (although those are abundant) I’m talking about the containers in which you store your food. Bisphenol-A, or BPA for short, is a chemical found in cans, containers, and water bottles.

BPA is a known cause of decreased testosterone, in addition to being connected to cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. The endocrine disruptor is now found in almost all plastic products. The solution is to use exclusively glass storage containers, except for water bottles and canteens, which should be made of metal. Avoid plastics and BPAs like the plague, even though there are “BPA free” plastic containers.

I exclusively keep my elk meat and wild caught Alaskan salmon (along with other testosterone boosting foods) in glass containers to store . It makes meal preparation very easy and ensures that you won’t be cucked and slowed by BPAs.

3: Your Shampoo

Yep. Your shampoo lowers your testosterone. I wasn’t kidding when I said there’s “common items you’re probably using right now” that lowers your testosterone. Parabens and pthalates, (two toxic chemicals connected to being low-T), are very likely present in all of your cosmetics. You can bet it’s in everything from shampoo to hair spray to moisturizer to even deodorant.

These chemicals have both been connected to a slew of horrifying endocrine distrupting issues, including:

  • Infertility
    Cancer
  • Weight gain
  • And more…
  • The solution is to only purchase cosmetics that are free of parabens and phthalates. Purchase your shampoo, moisturizer, and other cosmetics at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, or another organic-friendly retailer. Always read the labels to ensure that your products are free of parabens and phthalates, and that your deodorant is also aluminum-free.
  • Sure, it might be more expensive, but it’s worth it in the long run.

4: Your Clothes

Waterproof fabrics such as Gore-Tex, Perfluorooctanoic Acid, and other Teflon-based plastics have been linked to increased risk of cancer, infertility, and, you guessed it, lower testosterone levels.

Certain types of clothes have been shown to lower testosterone levels—and no, I’m not talking about wearing a dress or a bonnet; I’m referring to outerwear. Gore-Tex, and other Teflon-based plastics have all been linked to an increased risk of cancer, infertility, and, of course, reduced testosterone levels.

So, what do you do in this situation? It’s best to simply avoid or limit your exposure to specific sorts of clothing. Constrictive underwear has been shown to lower testosterone levels, so choose loose-fitting underwear. If possible, avoid synthetic chemicals, and stick with naturally made materials such as wool or cotton.

Summary:

The cast majority of problems in the world today come from low testosterone levels. These issues will resolve themselves if us men reclaim our health and testosterone. But where do we start? Go lift heavy weights and get as jacked as humanly possible. This will give you a purpose to life and develop discipline.
